Amnesty activists to say #refugeeswelcome

Amnesty Blackheath and Greenwich activists will tomorrow gather at the Cutty Sark from 7.30pm to show their support for refugees from Syria and elsewhere. If want to join us please just turn up and look for us with our placards.

Amnesty 1920s night in Walthamstow

It’s time to dust down your dancing shoes and search for your feather boas as Amnesty International Waltham Forest is once again opening the doors to the ballroom to celebrate human rights at the infamous annual Amnesty International 1920’s Party.

Its our AGM tonight from 7.30pm at St Margaret’s Church on Belmont Hill. Find us in the crypt which is accessible by ramp or steps. All are welcome to attend.

Islington and Hackney Pub Quiz – Mon 7 Sept

The Islington and Hackney group are hosting a pub quiz on Monday 7th September in aid of Amnesty. Inspired by, though not totally about, films. Teams of between 3 and 6 – cost £5 a person. Buffet food may be available at a cost of between £5 and £10 a head if ordered in advance.
