The Amnesty UK LGBTI network have produced a blog including an action in solidarity with Belgrade Pride. It would be great if you can promote it to your friends and colleagues via Facebook, Twitter, email etc
Please find the Belgrade Pride blog post here with details on how to show your solidarity with the event and an example of the photo action is above. If you can take a photo but aren’t on social media then please email your photo to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will share for you.
Thanks for your support!
On Tuesday at Greenwich Picturehouse it will be our regular monthly letter signing drop-in from 8pm. We will be signing a variety of letters on different cases from around the world. We welcome people to join us to sign one or more letters. You can find us on the 1st floor outside the bar (also near the lift).
On Friday 26 September, Amnesty Waltham Forest are opening the doors to the ballroom for their annual 1920’s Party. For the fifth time they are presenting Jazz songs from the 1920’s and 1930’s performed by the excellent Jazz band “While the Cat’s Away”. In between sets DJ TonyTunes will entertain you with his original Shellac records – some of which will also be available for you to buy.
