The Amnesty Mayfair & Soho group and Footprints of London are happy to present a fantastic series of London human rights themed walks.
Join Amnesty UK’s LGBTI Network at the Pride in London parade tomorrow. Those interested should meet at 11.30am outside Pizza Express on Baker Street. The event should be finished by 4pm at the latest. We’re expecting a fantastic turnout and group member, Simon is part of the Network Committee that’s organised it. Please channel all your thoughts, prayers etc for sunshine on what is always an enjoyable and yet meaningful day to raise awareness of LGBTI rights around the world.
Almost 300 letters signed from the book sale stall and last night’s letter signing. The focus was on cases from the new Stop Torture campaign. Well done everyone!
The letter signing drop-in evening this month is tomorrow (Tues 24) at Greenwich Picturehouse from 8-9pm. We will be focussing on letters supporting cases from Amnesty’s recently launched Stop Torture campaign.
All are welcome to join us and you will find us on the first floor just outside the bar area. There is a lift available if required.
