On Tuesday the group had a turnout of around 20 as we met for the first time in 2014. We were delighted to welcome Abby, Barbara, Fabiana, Matthew and Pat for their first time.
We had feedback on the Greenwich Series talk that Simon and David gave to twenty or so people where they inspired people to write letters to show solidarity with human rights defenders in Honduras.
We agreed to have a speaker on Egypt with a focus on Female Genital Mutilation at our February meeting. And we planned our letter writing drop-in that is on 28 Jan at Greenwich Picturehouse at 8pm.
We then watched a film on the civil war in Sri Lanka which inspired us to keep defending human rights across the world.
