Stop Violence Against Women Activists in Afghanistan

Ordinary people working to defend women’s human rights are regularly targeted and attacked in Afghanistan. But their work is vital: Afghanistan has been named ‘the worst place in the world to be a woman’. Help us change this.

Women’s human rights defenders need support and protection to continue their work. The UK government must lead the way in supporting them. You can take action by writing to your MP via the Amnesty UK website

Support for Afghan Women’s Rights was the focus of our action at our June 2013 book sale.
