With the winter holidays only around the corner, Amnesty LDN thought we’d celebrate in style and get festive with their CHRISTMAS SOCIAL 2013!
Amnesty LDN is a group for recent graduates and young professionals in London, and we aim to bridge the gap between student and local groups.
Next week Amnesty LDN will be meeting at the Human Rights Action Centre at around 7pm on Thursday 12 December, where they will get creative with our “Write for Rights” Campaign, creating seasonal cards for prisoners of conscience around the world.
Donning festive Christmas Jumpers (optional, but strongly advised), there will be eggnog, mulled wine, tea, coffee, cake and all sorts of fancy treats to get your teeth into!
There will be a suggested donation on the door, but you’ll get some marvellous mince pies in return.
After everyones made some quality cards, people will be heading onto Shoreditch High Street for some after hours antics in one of East London’s many bars – watch the Facebook event page for more details.
It would be absolutely great to have activists from both student and local groups, as well as the Amnesty LDN group itself, join this event and get to know each other!
All are invited so bring whoever and spread the joy 🙂
